A Sip of Black Coffee!

A sip of black coffee made her realize it wasn't going to be easy. The taste was bitter, yet she was happy to have it. It had been a long tiring journey and she was seeing an even longer journey ahead. It had been a journey through cold winds freezing her nerves, making her incapable of feeling anything at all. The cold inside was so powerful that it had made her forget she was made of flesh and bone, and not of ice from icebergs. Moving forward through freezing winds wasn't a tough job for her anymore as she had adapted so well to being a part of that cold, incapable of feeling anything.
The journey had been tough!

And the journey ahead was that through deserts!
To melt the icebergs inside her, she had to walk through it. She was bestowed with cracks in the iceberg inside her as she stepped out in the sun. And yet she was happy. The warmth first started breaking her and it made her hurt like never before. The sun rays started melting her outside too then and slowly she started regaining what she had buried deep down inside her. She started feeling the warmth and she knew she had to walk through the desert before she could reach the ocean. She was water and water had to be returned to the ocean. The desert was going to evaporate some of her and yet she knew there was an oasis just one step away whenever she was going to be tired of it, whenever she was going to be at the verge of giving up. She knew there will always be an oasis waiting for her whenever she was getting too tired of it an about to give up. She knew she was going to reach the ocean one day!

She took another sip of black coffee and realized that her taste buds were finally functioning now. It filled her insides with bitterness and yet she was happy to be able to feel that taste. So long ago it seemed that she had tasted bitterness, tasted anything at all. The journey ahead wasn't going to be easy, but she was going to find the ocean one day!
